Skillnets Statement of Strategy 2016-2019

Skillnets’ Statement of Strategy 2016-2019 will be published in September 2016. As part of a comprehensive consultation process for the strategy we are inviting the public to participate in an open consultation to support its development.

What is the purpose of this public consultation?

The purpose of this open public consultation is to bring together the combined insights and perspectives of all stakeholders in informing the Skillnets Statement of Strategy 2016-2019.

Our aim is to develop an effective and robust strategy that will not only serve to support national economic growth, but will bring real results to employees and enterprise at a regional and sectoral level.

How can I take part?

Skillnets has developed a position paper to support the consultation process for the Skillnets Statement of Strategy 2016-2019.

The public is invited to review the position paper and respond to a series of questions outlined under three strategic themes.

It is intended that the feedback from all stakeholders supplied under these themes will frame the final strategy.

If you could prefer to receive a printed copy of the position paper by post, please contact the Communications department on 01 2079630 or email communications@skillnets.com.

How do I submit my feedback?

The public can submit feedback by online form.

Or alternatively you can email feedback to communications@skillnets.com or submit it by post to Skillnets, 5th Floor, Q House, 76 Furze Road, Sandyford, Dublin 18, D18 E268.

The public consultation is open for a period of eight weeks. The closing date for submissions is Tuesday, 19th July 2016.

Submissions made during this consultation, and details of respondents, will not be published by Skillnets. However, submissions received by Skillnets are subject to the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act and may be released in response to an FOI request.
