Dairygold Vice-Chairman Bertie O’Leary (pictured on right) was recently re-elected Vice-President of national co-op body ICOS – the Irish Co-operative Organisation Society Ltd.  He was also re-elected as ICOS Dairy Committee Chairman where he immediately headed a delegation to Minister for Agriculture Simon Coveney T.D. with from left ICOS Dairy Policy Executive T.J. Flanagan, ICOS President Pat McLoughlin and Tom O’Callaghan, Chief Executive.  The delegation briefed the Minister on the ICOS Dairy Industry Review process which has highlighted the amount of collaboration and co-operation currently taking place between processors as well as highlighting the key areas of competitiveness that need to be addressed.
