ICOS CEO, Welcomes the outcome of the Dairygold SGM Vote

Speaking at the conclusion of the Dairygold SGM, ICOS CEO, Seamus O’Donohoe, welcomed the outcome of the vote.  “The Membership has overwhelmingly confirmed the trust they reside in their elected Board and in Executive Management.

The Dairygold “Post Quota” strategy has received a resounding endorsement and the Members have confirmed their confidence in the Board.

The challenges for the Society and its Members, in adjusting to a freer market and more volatile market place, with less support from the EU, is not to be underestimated, he said.  The Management and Membership can now proceed to address these challenges on a shared basis”, he concluded.
