For the past year, the various components of the UK Dairy industry have been trying to draft a plan for the development of the sector. The fruits of their efforts have now been launched with politicians in Westminster.

It is quite short of actual targets bar a commitment to eliminate dairy imports by 2025.

43 organisations and dairy businesses have signed up the strategy which focuses on scale, innovation and efficiency.
