Outcome of Phase 1 of the Voluntary Supply Management Scheme
Nationally, the EU’s Voluntary Supply Management scheme will result in €6.5 million for Ireland, with an average payment of €1,800 per farmer. The Department will contact each farmer who submitted a payment request outlining in a clear and detailed way what they are entitled to by way of payment, and farmers should receive their payment by the end of March. The results of phase one are outlined below:
