The Minister for Agriculture, Michael Creed T.D. has announced a new call for research proposals under the Department’s Research Funding Programmes. A number of thematic areas across the agriculture, food and forest sectors are covered in the call for proposals. These include food processing technology and food chain integrity. In relation to environmental sustainability, the EPA has agreed to co-fund two topics in areas of mutual strategic importance.
