National Farmed Animal Health Strategy Launched by Minister Creed

The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Michael Creed TD has launched the National Farmed Animal Health Strategy 2017-22. A national strategy is designed to minimise financial losses to farmers, underpin Ireland’s reputation for good animal health and help develop and secure new market opportunities. Dr. Noel Cawley, Chairman of Teagasc was appointed Chair of the National Farmed Animal Health Strategy Review Body, which will be tasked with monitoring the development and implementation of the plan.
