The National Dairies Association, the representative body for liquid milk processors travelled to the Netherlands and Belgium on 5^th and 6^th of March.

Highlights of the trip included a visit to Friesland Campina’s innovation centre in Wageningen and a visit to a Dutch dairy farm. In Belgium, the delegation met with MEPs in the European Parliament including Jim Nicholson MEP, Mairead McGuinness MEP and Matt Carthy MEP. Meetings were also held with the European Commission’s DG for Agriculture and Environment on Single Use Plastics, Market Transparency and the Unfair Trading Practices Directive.
