The Department of Agriculture has arranged a series of information meetings on the new CAP strategic plan, which will be held in various venues over the next month.

It is expected that the European Commission will issue a formal observation letter on the draft CAP Strategic Plan (CSP) towards the end of March.

In the meantime, DAFM are developing the administrative and IT systems needed post 2023 and a letter outlining the key messages to prepare for CSP on eligibility, stocking, etc will issue to all farmers by the end of February.
