ICOS invites applicants to new Bioeconomy online course
Are you interested in bioeconomy? ICOS is inviting applications for a new fully online course focused an all aspects of bioeconomy. Darragh Walshe Legal and Development executive with ICOS: “The programme is also very practical in its approach. There are 5 modules in the programme and at the end of the programme there is a short 10 question multiple-choice quiz and upon successful completion, participants will be able to download their certificate of completion. The whole system is fully automated.”
The purpose of this course is to provide the learner with an understanding of the bioeconomy concept and principles and an appreciation of the challenges and opportunities presented to stakeholders and consumers as we transition to the bioeconomy.
On completion of this training course, participants will have a better understanding of the principles of a sustainable bioeconomy. They will appreciate how EU and national policies are promoting transition to the bioeconomy. They will understand the range of agricultural and bio-renewable product opportunities and appreciate the different technologies used in developing a bioeconomy
